I'm currently working on Hellenic-Christian polemics in Late Neoplatonism as well as topics in the "Platonizing Sethian treatises" of Nag Hammadi. My articles include:

- "Proclus and the Theurgic Liturgy of Pseudo-Dionysius," in Dionysius vol. XVIII (2004)

- "Hermetism/Hermeticism" - Dictionary entry for Dictionary of Religion (ed. K. von Stuckrad; Leiden: E. J. Brill, 2006)

- "The Chaldean Oracles of Zoroaster, Hekate’s Couch, and Platonic Orientalism in Psellos and Plethon," in Aries vol. VI no. 2 (2006)

- "Seeking Ancient Wisdom in the New Age: New Age and Neo-Gnostic Commentators on the Gospel of Thomas," in Western Esotericism and Polemics (eds. K. von Stuckrad and O. Hammer; Leiden: E.J. Brill, forthcoming 2007)

I also recently (Oct 23, 2006) gave a paper ("The Quest for the Historical Denys and Hellenic-Christian Polemic in Late Neoplatonism") at Yale University's conference "Channels of Communication: Interreligious Dialogue in Late Antiquity."
